Providing a bag of meals every weekend during the school year for food-insecure children in Goodview, Huddleston, Moneta, Montvale, and Stewartsville Elementary Schools in Bedford County, Virginia.

Securing funds to enable us to provide weekend food bags for those children who are food insecure in our community is dependent upon the support of individuals, churches, civic groups, grant funds and others, in order to continue this valuable and vital program.

We welcome and encourage interested individuals to host their own a fund raising event to benefit Food For Kids.
​
And/or challenge your church, organization, business or family to “sponsor” a child for one week ($10), one month ($50) or one year ($400 - 9 months).

Kroger Community Rewards If you are a Kroger shopper, you can enroll in their Community Rewards Program and a portion of your purchase will come to Food For Kids. Go to Kroger.com, find the SAVE pull down menu, click on Kroger Community Rewards. Click on “I’m a Customer”, then log in or set up an account. Once you are logged in you are able to select “Food For Kids”. Our organization number is 93093 or FL894. Enrollment in Community Rewards does not affect any of your other Kroger discounts or fuel rewards. Just use your Kroger Plus card, or phone number each time you shop. You must re-enroll every August.
